Loop Video repeats a clip back-to-back as many times as you choose — 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 — producing one continuous MP4. Repeat mode copies the streams without re-encoding, so it is instant and lossless. Boomerang mode instead plays the clip forward and then backward, the effect made popular by Instagram, and re-encodes the result.

Everything runs in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm: no upload, no signup, no watermark. Boomerang needs the clip in memory to reverse it, so it is limited to 3 minutes; plain repeats have no such limit beyond your device's memory.

Why use this tool

Lossless repeats

Streams are copied, not re-encoded — instant and identical quality.

Boomerang mode

Forward + reverse in one file, audio included.

Any length

Repeat mode works on long clips too.

Private

Processed in your browser; nothing is uploaded.

Frequently asked questions

Is it free and private?
Yes. No. Everything runs in your browser with ffmpeg.wasm (WebAssembly); the file never leaves your device, nothing is uploaded or stored.
Does looping reduce quality?
Repeat mode does not re-encode at all — the file is concatenated at the container level, so quality is identical. Boomerang re-encodes once with H.264 at CRF 20, visually near-lossless.
How many times can I loop?
2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. For more, run the tool again on the output.
What is a boomerang?
The clip plays forward, then the same clip plays backward, so the motion bounces. Audio is reversed for the second half too.
Why is the loop not seamless?
A loop is only seamless when the first and last frames match. Trim the clip so it starts and ends in a similar position, or use Boomerang, which is seamless by construction.
Can I loop a GIF?
Convert the GIF to MP4 first (GIF to Video), loop it here, then convert back if you need a GIF.
Which formats are supported?
MP4, MOV, MKV, WebM, AVI, M4V, FLV, WMV, MPG and 3GP can be loaded; the result is saved as MP4.
