Increase Video Volume makes a quiet recording louder — 150%, 200%, 300%, 400% or 600% (+3.5 to +15.6 dB) — or turns it down to 50%. If you are not sure how much to boost, choose Normalize: it measures the clip and brings it to a standard loudness (EBU R128, −16 LUFS) with a true-peak limit so nothing clips, which is the safest choice for speech, lectures and phone recordings.
Only the audio track is processed; the video stream is copied unchanged, so the picture keeps its original quality and the job takes seconds. It all runs locally with ffmpeg.wasm — no upload, no account, no watermark.
